Selection Decanting Pourer
Product Description
Original patented decanting pourer that aerates wine at the point of pour without a separate decanter. An internal venturi pipe — shaped like an hourglass — accelerates wine flow through a narrow neck, creating a vacuum that draws air in through a small vent hole and mixes it with the wine stream as it exits. A stainless steel mesh screen at the outflow disperses the aerated stream evenly into the glass. Measures 3¾″ L. Imprint area ½″ W × 1″ H on the clear top, laser engraved or screen/pad printed. Available in Clear/Black Trim. Minimum order 36 units. Production time 10–15 working days.
The aeration mechanism operates on fluid dynamics — no batteries, pumps, or moving parts — making it a durable, maintenance-free pour accessory that delivers measurably improved aromatic expression in the glass without requiring the buyer to invest in or store a decanter.
Editor's Notes
Decanting is one of the highest-leverage interventions available to a wine service program — the difference between a wine poured straight from the bottle and the same wine given adequate air contact can be significant in both aroma and palate expression. The obstacle to decanting in a service environment has always been time: a decanter requires a pour, a wait, and a second pour, adding minutes of table time per bottle and requiring equipment that must be washed, stored, and transported. The Selection Decanting Pourer solves this by moving the aeration point to the bottle neck — wine is decanted in the same motion as the pour, with no additional equipment or time.
The mechanism is a venturi pipe inside the 3¾″ body. The hourglass profile of the pipe accelerates the wine through its narrow waist, reducing pressure at that point and drawing air in through the vent hole — the same principle that governs carburetors and atomizers. The stainless steel mesh screen at the exit disperses the air-wine mixture before it reaches the glass, producing a more even and complete aeration than a simple pour through a tube. The clear outer body allows the mechanism to be visible, which serves as a tableside conversation piece in a restaurant or tasting room setting.

Patented venturi aeration mechanism: Not a simple tube or screen — the venturi geometry actively draws air into the wine stream rather than relying on surface contact alone, producing aeration in a single pour that otherwise requires several minutes of decanter exposure.
No moving parts or maintenance: The mechanism operates entirely on fluid dynamics; there is nothing to break, replace, or calibrate across the life of the product.
Clear body as a service presentation asset: The visible internal mechanism serves as a tableside conversation starter in a fine dining or tasting room environment — the pourer explains itself without words.
Restaurant wine service programs: On-premise accounts where tableside decanting is operationally difficult but aromatic improvement is a service differentiator — the pourer delivers both without additional equipment in the wine pourers category.
Winery tasting room pour staff: Allows staff to present every pour with a visible aeration step that communicates attention to the wine's expression without slowing the tasting flow.
Wine retail gift programs: A branded decanting pourer as a gift-with-purchase at a specific bottle tier or as a standalone add-on purchase at the point of sale.
Distributor sales tool programs: A branded pourer as a leave-behind for on-premise accounts — every time the account uses the pourer, the distributor's brand is on the bottle.
Buyers comparing aerating pourers to standard pour spouts should also review the Free Pour Fast Pourer (RFUXK-JEMAJ) and full pourers category for accounts that need volume-control or standard flow options alongside an aerating option.
